When you hear people talk about Crawlers in the context of SEO, they are referring to the programs that search engines use to scan and analyse websites in order to determine their importance, and thus their ranking in the results of internet searches for certain keywords. Crawlers are also often referred to as spiders or robots.

crawler means google crawl your website post or pages which you post in website, if its is scam or copy paste content that google not crawl your website and sometime not index..( looking a website )
