Does keywords still matters for google - Site Owners Forums

I am seo and working on the website http://plexinfo.com. i know that google say keywords don't matter now and does not play even a single role in the google page rank, but i have seen that many website still using meta keywords. Can anyone clear me on this.. Should i consider the meta keywords or not ??

keywords and links became the virtual currency of the pre Hummingbird search economy. All search marketers know how that eventually worked out Search engine results pages were polluted with misleading results, leading to websites with thin content and providing an unsatisfactory experience to the user.

yes in article title, h tags, paragraphs, images and video titles, keywords are special for google but not important in meta keyword tag. Do you like Education....
