Re-direct UK IP's but ensure Google Spyder is not affected?
Forgive my lack of knowledge about Google Spyder
I am doing a complete rebuild of my .com site - hosted in the US. For testing purposes I want to add a temporary script on the home page that re-dierects UK IP addresses to my .co.uk site (also hosted in the US). Can I be sure that this will not disrupt the Google spyder so that my ranking is not affected? I am presuming that google will not use a UK IP to spyder my US hodting, so that there will be no issue - but just double checking. If there is a possibel issue - how do I cover this? |
