A Trackback is a method for web authors to request notification when somebody links to one of their articles. This enables authors to keep track of who is linking, and so referring, to their content.

This enables authors to keep track of who is linking to their articles. Some weblog software, such as SilverStripe, WordPress, Drupal, and Movable Type, supports automatic pingbacks where all the links in a published article can be pinged when the article is published. The term is used colloquially for any kind of linkback.

Trackback means where to redirect when someone click on your bookmarking, its great to link that site address for which you are bookmarking means same URL

A trackback URL is where somebody posts a link to their site on your site. In return, they have posted a link to your site on their site and have copied an article you have written.

You can also say reciprocal link.

Track back URL is directing the links to other site. This URL is posted in bookmarking sites.
