As far as i concern Google plus is better
With google plus authorship you can improve seo and drive traffic It now offers business opportunities Embed post link Google plus link have more weightage |

Google+ is absolutely better than twitter because it provides high quality do follow link for your website, if you are taking it for seo purpose otherwise twitter is best.
