Blog Commenting is still effective?

I also use Blog Commenting to increase visitors and it's really very helpful to increase the visitors and keywords ranking.

I would say its effectiveness lies behind on the people who leave comments. I do blog commenting but for the purpose of having conversation with other bloggers which sometimes lead to them knowing my blog.
That's the sole purpose of blog commenting nowadays - To have conversation or add value to a blog post. Other than that is spammy. Sure you can drop comments with links to a spammy blog and get nothing from it. |

blog commenting is not effective if you are planning to create backlinks with it. Most of the blogging sites are now nofollow, so you wont be getting any linkjuices at all, However, blog commenting can bring more visits your site for sure.

Blog comment is gives you backlink is no-follow so no effect for this.

Actually blog commenting is not a good strategy of link building because blog gives you no-follow comments back links and no-follow back links are not helps too much to increase your ranking on Google.

It is still effective but make sure that blog commenting website must have high page rank.
