I think it's 80 percent for desktop(centered) and 100% for mobile

See the attribute of screen resolution. Full size 1024 is better. If you make responsive then use of CSS.

It depend on the website and it may varies from resolution of desktop such as 1366X768 0r 1024X768, and 100% width for mobile phones
