You need to focus on few things :

1. The famous 80/20 rule, i.e. 80% should have good content and 20% advertisement of your product
2. Tweet regularly.
3. Gain more followers
4. Build up a relation with your followers.

Best way is to generate more followers as they will be your targeted consumers.
