Can another Search Engine Overtake Google? - Site Owners Forums

Every business out there has competitors, and Google is no different. Every network we use like Bing, Amazon, Facebook, and even Twitter give us the information we search for, so in a sense they are competitors. So the question is can another network or community replace Google? If so which ones?

How would SEO exist within a different paradigm?

I can pretty confidently say it is impossible for any company to pass google in search engine dominance.

It depends on how their algorithm works and how far it is showing the exact what user searches? So it is not possible to develop a new search engine with algorithm similar to google..

I don't think anything it is impossible because impossible is "I Am Possible" in itself. So, as we don't know about the future, we can't guarantee anything because we have not seen the future. Therefore, it was difficult to say that it is impossible.

In fact, there are many other search engine google, but At the moment, Google is the leading search tool, and as you can see, in the future it is difficult to have other alternative tool Google. Should your work just do google always trust your website!

Yahoo used to dominate the online search arena, but Google introduced a new way of providing quick search results, which made it the #1 search engine on the web. I believe that it is possible for a new company to come up with a better way of giving the users what they want.

I am aware that overpassing Google is something very very difficult. But I have to add that Google searching has lowered its capabilities lately due to the great amount of space used for adverts, and biassed results.

I hope they feel the breath under their neck to put some pressure on the business.
