It seems like people trust what they see in their email better than trends on social media especially when business is involved. Do you think this true? And how can email marketing be carried out?

I don't think it's true because people get junk mail every day and in order to find out you have to click on those link which sometimes can be harmful as well. But, on social media people are open to engaging with new things. As far as your concern about how email marketing should be carried out, you have to provide a little more detail about your expectation.

I think it depends on the particular case. Sometimes email is better, if you are having a long term collaboration with somebody and you need the whole thing well organised, with time, date.
