PPC or Pay Per Click is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner) when the ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market.

PPC means pay per click as has been mentioned over and over again on this thread. If also can be used to value different keywords in Ad Sense. Google typically pays the publisher 50% to 68% of PPC value for every Adsense Ad that is clicked on their site.

A pay-per-click (PPC) Ad is a small, four line ad consisting of a headline, two short lines of text and URL. PPC Ads only display to people who have shown an active interest in the topic by either searching for information, or by going one step further and visiting a website.
