Hidden Links
Putting hyperlinks where visitors will not see them to increase link popularity. Highlighted link text can help rank a webpage higher for matching that phrase.

I guess, that method seems to be black-hat method, "Hidden links", and obviously Google will give penalty for such links on long run.

The most important thing by Googles updated algorithm is Content.
