I've found Twitter has produced the best results. Facebook maybe if you are trying to market a product rather than a service.

From my experience I would like to say twitter is best for business purpose.
Twitter converts more
new visitors to your site
Appearance in search engines.

I get a lot more traffic from Facebook, but my Twitter traffic converts better. For my business, LinkedIn has been valuable than the other 2 combined.
